No travel is required, availability of practice is nearly unlimited, analytics of learning outcomes provide insight for every aspect of clinical skills, learner performance, and learner and class skills gaps. The immersive learning enterprise provides unlimited access to practice, a diversity of virtual patient case scenarios, immediate feedback regarding learning outcomes that allow PMHNP learners to acquire skills faster, with greater accuracy, and retain learned skills longer when compared to traditional instruction. The emphasis is on prescribing psychotropic medications, therapy, and providing emergency psychiatric services to patients with organic brain, substance abuse, and complex co-occurring disease processes for adult/geriatric clients.
Pediatric/Adolescent - clinical immersive experiences focus on the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners’ (PMHNP) clinical role in assessing, diagnosing, managing, and treating mental health disorders.
